We had another large family gathering and the staff was very accommodating again. The food and service was excellent as usual. Steak was terrific and salad bar was well stocked with plenty of options! Definitely recommend and will be back soon!

Bobby and Melody are the best and they serve very good food here. My mother loves the fried green tomatoes and grill shrimp.

Came through Smithville from a college graduation and the food was great! Plenty of southern hospitality and one of the best salad bars I've had. Will definitely come back when we're coming back through.

Have been eating here for 15 years now. I love the food, the club sandwich, the fried green tomato sandwich. The lunch buffet with dessert and drink included! Delicious. Wonderful people Melanie, Bobby and Jean, both girls.

The waitress said it was hee first night doing tables, she rocked it. Very sweet lady, her name slips my mind. Great food, I've had a lot of different meals. I recommend going simply for the salad bar!!!!! Yum!

Mel's diner has been in business for 24 years it's family ran by mama... two daughters and Daddy's retired but still works there amazing food.. amazing company .. overall just a good experience highly recommend... so friendly. food salad bar.. was well priced and amazing tasting....ty we will be back

Our food is delicious every time!! Consistency is the key!! The fish is almost as good as my husband's The salad bar is one of the best. Thank you for want you do and the service you provide!!
